In residence: Siebe Thijs

Siebe Thijs is currently in residence at C-TAKT, where he is working on the scenography of Pilgrimage in the atelier. This project takes the form of an installation and performative performance, in which an abstract narrative is constructed around an existential expedition — an intimate, moral journey through a constantly changing landscape.
Pilgrimage is a contemporary pilgrimage, driven by the collective striving for a new society. A society in which the place of the individual is reconsidered, and where the community does not oppress the individual, but transcends it.
