Niko Hafkenscheid is in residence at C-TAKT this week in preparation for his research dossier: Death and its dramaturgy: towards a porous mourning landscape. The residency is part of the preparations for a research dossier on contemporary dramaturgy and codes of death. More specifically, Niko wants to examine crematoria within a historically rapidly changing mourning landscape, where the authentic and the artificial meet. The residency specifically serves to engage partners from the arts field and crematoria in the research. During the residency, he works closely with the crematorium in Lommel.
