‘My August feels like December’ will be an intimate, multidisciplinary performance where contemporary dance, digital video art, sound design and textile scenography work together to develop a contemporary framework where individual grief experiences can be connected.

Grief and sorrow are feelings that everyone has to deal with in their own way sooner or later, and they are too often surrounded by a hidden, almost voyeuristic veil. Pieter Desmet wants to take it out of that shadow. The performance is an intimate experience where those veils of grief are shed.

During the residency at Dommelhof, which is also the last residency for this production, the artistic team finishes the performance.
