The Image Generator is a site-specific two-day happening that explores the intersection between visual art, sound art and performance. The 6th edition welcomes twenty artists and nine organizations who will take over the exhibitions and spaces of Kunsthal Extra City and MORPHO. Prepare for a lively encounter with interactive installations, performative interventions, video works, contemporary dance, collective lectures and soundscapes. All this in a former Dominican monastery in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium.

The Image Generator wants to provide a rich breeding ground for new and groundbreaking art forms, but also stimulates a more direct and mutual exchange between the public, artist and environment. We believe that from this interaction an enormous potential of new images and perspectives can emerge, leading to a sensory dialogue and a way to share our most fleeting intuitions.
