About wpZimmer

wpZimmer is an (inter)national residency for performing artists with a focus on dance, performance and hybrid working methods. Their development, need for research and urge to create are central to our operations. wpZimmer shares its infrastructure and is developing in Antwerp into a lively collective workplace that is dedicated to multiple artistic activities. We aim for a healthy balance between local roots and international appeal.

We support a broad group of changing artists through an open residency. We enter into a sustainable, long-term commitment with a number of makers, with the ultimate goal of an independent place in the artistic landscape. Whether we offer artists a permanent place or temporary work accommodation, or meet briefly: we always offer flexible, tailor-made solutions. We work as a fine-meshed network between artist and professional field and focus on exchanging and sharing contacts, knowledge and experience.
