hEAR DROPS – Ears on the Ball

Ball sports are all about motor skills and agility. In fact, it is no different in music. Balls and rhythms are ubiquitous, so why not combine the two? Making music with balls does require some dexterity and hand-eye coordination. With simplicity as a maxim, acoustics as a partner and perhaps your voice as an instrument, you will undoubtedly arrive at an interesting composition.

Artlink: That distinct sounds and simple musical ideas are enough to create interesting music is proven by the choir Mieskuoro Huutajat from Finland.

hEAR DROPS promotes collaboration between children and teachers based on shared criteria. The principle is simple: watch an episode together, discuss what you’ve seen and heard, watch again, interpret the rules of the game, discuss context and materials, perform together, evaluate together.
