For Beyond the Black Box – February 1 to 4, 2023 – de Brakke Grond, together with the Missionaries, will create three video portraits of makers who are supported in their development. This time: Jija Sohn. She can be seen at the festival with Landing on Feathers, a co-production with de Brakke Grond.

“I started to feel very uncomfortable with the limited ‘box’ way of working. I want to enable a freer way of working, where I can have meetings and respond to them. This way it feels more like a jam, an improvisatory way of create space.”
