A tormented, contemporary Elkerlyc

‘A deluded state of mind’ is, first and foremost, a very good text. It is an interior monologue of an unspecified character. I’ll stick with a ‘he’ for a while. He first wonders what he should eat, but on the way to make purchases his thoughts wander. First by passers-by who catch his attention. He reprimands himself for his negative ideas about it. Very quickly his thoughts spin wildly afterwards, simply because of the question of what connects him to the others. He notices that he can think or not think about everything at the same time. He just can’t stop thinking. (…)
