Description

A motley crew sets up a tent in a remote corner of our reality. Around a smouldering fire, ancient myths are peddled. Illusions triumph over sober reason and tempestuous nature shows its boundlessness. A megalomaniacal monster approaches them. The camping trip degenerates into a splattering bloodbath.

Lobke Leirens and Maxim Storms are intrigued by the attraction that surfaces when humans face fear. How can staged fear connect and unite? And what role do monsters have in it? Marshmallow BBQ becomes a hallucinatory comic drama in the grotesque, implausible yet gripping style of an old horror film.
