Biography
Maryam K. Hedayat is an Iranian Belgian visual artist living in Brussels. She graduated as a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Antwerp and studied film directing at the LUCA School of Arts in Brussels. She is currently working on her video installation Genderless. She has set up an artistic team to develop the project and is working with choreographer Judith Clijsters and with scenographers Karel Burssens and Jeroen Verrecht from 88888. The installation will be presented to the public in 2017 and was previously performed as a work in progress during the Mestizo Arts Festival in Antwerp, during Bang! Festival in Brussels, during the Lust & Liefde festival in Ghent and during the Week of the Workplace event in C-mine cultural center in Genk.
