SABOT

Sara Manente

Description

With SABOT, Sara Manente explore how to give form and movement to a sense of ruination of the body and of language, within the tension between decomposition and composition. Developed through a series of residency periods conceived as research laboratories, the project unfolds in dialogue with Sandrine R. Schiller, AI philosopher, and Chris Tegho, machine learning engineer, initiating a collaboration between performing arts, philosophy, and technology. SABOT—short for self-sabotage —investigates the place of desire and labour in a time marked by environmental, economic, affective, and political breakdown.
