22.06.2026 – 03.07.2026
MegaTron is the latest creation by sound artist Toon Quanten. The installation is constructed entirely from organ pipes and bellows. If you look closely, you will notice that this polyphonic machine actually bears a resemblance to a medieval cathedral.
Tumbling from harmonious polyphony to folk counterpoint, musicians from Delle Donne accompany the MegaTron. With complete dedication, they take you from polyphonic soundscapes for religious rulers to burlesque songs rooted in folk traditions.
Step into this world of Renaissance music and discover how surprisingly fresh this sound universe still is.
